Lamb Kabobs
Lamb Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb Palmer Farms lamb kabab meat
1 large red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 large bell pepper (red or yellow), cut into 1-inch pieces
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
Marinate the Lamb: Add the Palmer Farms lamb kabab meat to the bowl, ensuring each piece is coated in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight for maximum flavor.
Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan on the stove, heat it over medium-high heat.
Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated lamb onto the skewers, alternating with pieces of red onion and bell pepper for added color and flavor.
Grill the Kabobs: Place the skewers on the hot grill. Cook for approximately 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is browned on the outside and reaches your desired doneness (145°F for medium-rare).
Rest and Serve: Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with a side of grain, a fresh salad, or warm pita bread, and enjoy the sophisticated flavors of your homemade lamb kabobs.
Notes
For added flavor, consider garnishing your kabobs with fresh herbs such as parsley or mint before serving. These will enhance the dish beautifully and provide a fresh contrast to the rich lamb.
